Spoiled Meat

It’s no myth.  The better care the cattle receive the better the beef they produce.  Think about that in terms our our human bodies.  They function better and more efficiently when we eat right, exercise, and keep our stress down.

Waiting for us to open the gate into the heavenly pasture.

Thankfully here on the farm the cattle are checked on daily, the fences are maintained to keep them safe, the barns are cleaned on a regular basis, and they are down right spoiled.  They are rotated through a variety of pastures to allow the pastures to regenerate, and give the cattle fresh pasture in which to graze.  There is one particular pasture that they love and it’s the one right in front of the house.  They will stand at the gate and “moo” until we open it and let them in.  It’s such a hoot or should I say “moo.”

Cattle are community animals so they do better when they are surrounded with other cattle.  The more the merrier when it comes to cattle.

Has the meat that you serve your family been spoiled, in a good way that is.  ;)
